We’re gearing up to announce something very exciting that will transform the way businesses engage and interact

on Reddit.

To celebrate, we’re hosting an intimate panel discussion where we’ll be revealing all the juicy details. In true Reddit fashion, we’ll be doing it over delicious bites, custom drinks and award winning music from a top local DJ – this one is not to be missed.

The conversation will bring together diverse perspectives from across the online ecosystem and share their first hand experiences of building community through Reddit conversations.

Panel Information

The new toolkit for growth: driving business success through community conversation

It’s imperative for businesses to rethink their organic and paid online strategies to not just show up in the right context, but to participate in their audience's conversations.

Join us as we bring together key voices across the online ecosystem: brands with first-hand experience in online communities, Reddit community moderators fostering this participation, and industry leaders shepherding this change. These leaders will discuss the new tools and frontiers of social engagement, as well as how to effectively navigate them.

Steve Hoffman

Co-Founder/CEO

Steve Huffman is the co-founder and CEO of Reddit, the "front page of the internet" and fourth most visited site in the U.S. He is also the co-founder and former CEO of Hipmunk, the popular online travel company. Raised in northern Virginia, Huffman pursued his passion for programming from an early age and followed it through a computer science degree at the University of Virginia. In 2005, he and his college roommate Alexis Ohanian pitched their first start-up to then-new incubator Y Combinator. While the pair's initial idea for a food-ordering mobile app called My Mobile Menu was rejected, Y Combinator founder Paul Graham invited them to build a new startup, which soon led to their creation of Reddit. After selling the company in 2006, Huffman launched Hipmunk and was named to Inc. Magazine's “30 Under 30” list in 2011 and the Forbes “30 Under 30” list in 2012. A few years later, Huffman returned as CEO of Reddit, where he has led the company's development of native image and video hosting, a new mobile app, and a full site redesign while growing the Reddit community to over 330 million monthly users. In addition to his work at Reddit, Huffman is a mentor at Hackbright Academy, a San Francisco-based coding school for women. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, dancing, and browsing r/WholesomeMemes.

Roxy Young, Reddit’s Chief Marketing and Consumer Experience Officer

Roxy Young is Reddit’s Chief Marketing and Consumer Experience Officer and the first Latinx female to join Reddit’s C-Suite. She is focused on building the brand’s recognition, relevance and reputation, and leading the charge to make Reddit a daily destination for a more diverse group of people, all over the world. Roxy led Reddit’s first ever -- and now award winning -- consumer marketing campaigns including UpTheVote, the celebrated voter initiative to empower users to vote with the same enthusiasm in the lead-up to the 2020 Election, as they do when voting on Reddit. Roxy was also at the helm of Reddit’s blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Super Bowl commercial, leading the team that conceived, crafted, booked and funded a 5-second spot -- that many dubbed the “winner” -- in less than one week. With more than 20 years’ experience working with major brands including Sephora, Gap and Netflix, Roxy’s experience spans all areas of marketing. Roxy earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and her M.B.A from the University of Notre Dame.

Explaining in plain English what's new with America's space program (and why it matters) is what Stephanie does. She oversees NASA's flagship social media team, which has conversations with the public and the media about all of the agency's activities, from astronauts to X-ray telescopes and back again. When she's not guiding social media staff across NASA on best practices spanning 14 platforms, you'll find her hiking, cooking or reading.
